Also I use music or audible books to clear my mind while I ride and not over react. Someday Roscoe and Charlie will lose the green. And PS I laugh at the picture in my head of Roscoe next to Charlie. Not even just saying "whoa" or "good" or whatever, but also just plain English almost as if I'm narrating our ride. Bc it helps me focus and not get caught up or too annoyed plus it literally forces me to stay in the moment. Bc yea. The green horse saga is strong over here too, even without dealing with the tragedy of loss. emmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05686949099663199382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6807380258442769826.post-80889249281289564962017-03-02T11:06:17.438-05:002017-03-02T11:06:17.438-05:00I tend to get a bit numb when I grieve, so the har...I tend to get a bit numb when I grieve, so the hardest part was knowing I needed to change how I asked and not getting the right way faster. I almost wrote Winston's memorial post, but chose this one first. Soon I can do him justice.Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13675631291488697042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6807380258442769826.post-86791731997434388892017-03-02T11:02:16.770-05:002017-03-02T11:02:16.770-05:00I am okay with it since now I know what it will pr...I am okay with it since now I know what it will produce :)Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13675631291488697042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6807380258442769826.post-13188101227843559992017-03-02T08:50:30.562-05:002017-03-02T08:50:30.562-05:00What Alanna said. I have found that when I try to take my emotions out of it I end up suppressing them and it seemed to make things worse for me. I have better luck when I speak them out loud. I know it sounds foolish but I find if I speak them I can let them go and get on with things.
